Buchholz and the Red Sox lead 5-1 after 5 complete. Clay has given up 3 hits and 1 run. Halladay of Toronto is gone after 5. Red Sox hold on, a win for Buchholz.

Buchholz last three starts were against Verlander, Sabathia and tonight Halladay. He just got the win against Halladay.

he has thrown pretty great these last 3 starts. finally got some support today

Bruntlet gets unassisted triple play to end game.  Only the 2nd time in history that's happened.

that's right, last time in 1928 by johnny dunn who was a first baseman.

actually it is more rare than a perfect game. there has been 17 perfect games thrown in the modern era, 16 unassisted triple plays.

Wandy throws a gem,  but doesn't get any help.  He allowed 1 run on 3 hits.  His last 10 starts, he is 6-2 with 15 earned runs allowed.  10 of those runs came in one bad start.

He has been one of the few bright spots for the Astros this year,  its probably getting time for Drayton to start trying to trade him.
