adminbaberuth Posted August 24, 2009 Author Report Posted August 24, 2009 Bruntlet gets unassisted triple play to end game. Only the 2nd time in history that's happened. that's right, last time in 1928 by johnny dunn who was a first baseman. actually it is more rare than a perfect game. there has been 17 perfect games thrown in the modern era, 16 unassisted triple plays.
PhatMack19 Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Wandy throws a gem, but doesn't get any help. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits. His last 10 starts, he is 6-2 with 15 earned runs allowed. 10 of those runs came in one bad start. He has been one of the few bright spots for the Astros this year, its probably getting time for Drayton to start trying to trade him.
