Guest DickVitale Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 AND Von Wafer gets sent to the locker room by Adelman!!! WOW...He will be playing in the NBDL next seaon with the Austin Toros!!! :D
McHale Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 WHAT THE???? FISHER?? Luis Scola must be talking about talking about those guys mothers out there tonight!!! :D Fisher is a veteran, he is trying to get an edge on the rockets. Kobe better get an escort out of the Arena. Artest might just be waiting on him.....
hjhawks Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 Fischer should sit a game.... that was almost worse than throwing a punch. I think Artest was just trying to get a T...should not have been thrown out. Yao needs to unleash the fury or it will be alot of the same in games 3 and 4
shorttexas1 Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 I can gaurentee that Yao won't get thos cheap fouls in Houston.. He WILL play 40 minutes and that spells trouble for LA... I must admit I did not believe that these games would be so close, but I am proud and glad Houston is proving me wrong!
Guest JoesBros Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 I love the acting job Fischer had in the post game press conference. Acting like he didnt do anything to get ejected. He shouldnt play in game 3 and its going to be an all out war in H-town this weekend.
Razor Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 this series is getting "chippy" and I love it...playoff basketball at its best..this is gonna be a great one to watch and these confrontations will happen each and every game for the rest of this series...hopefully, the Rockets will show their mettle and step up to the plate and hit the Lakers in the mouth this series...can't wait for Game 3 in Houston.
Bobcat1 Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 I keep watching the replay, poor poor sportsmanship.

Guest JoesBros Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 I think Toyota Center is a waaaaaaaay better home court than Staples Center
Gabe Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Hey nvm, Im going to your Lakers' bashing party. What kind of cheese would you like with all your whine?!?!?
dccurtis Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Do you guys think Ron will get suspended fro that throat slash towards Kobe??
Guest JoesBros Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Nah im sure he might get fined but that should be it
BUCman Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Derek Fisher is a punk. All he does is instigate stuff. He needs a good elbow right to the jaw to shut him up.
highsky Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Do you guys think Ron will get suspended fro that throat slash towards Kobe?? He wasn't doing a throat slash. He was trying to let the officials know that Kobe hit him in the throat with his elbow. NBA rules state that if an elbow is thrown above shoulder height then it is an automatic ejection. That's what happened to Dwight Howard earlier in the playoffs. Kobe is a legit superstar but he is dirty. Case in point, in Game 1, Battier was defending Kobe well and he was getting frustrated so when Battier steals the ball, Kobe tangles him up and in the act of getting up, knees Battier hard. Plus, Kobe was taunting all night long (last night) saying "you can't guard me" and the officials let him do it. The NBA loves and protects Kobe from everything. Fisher should be suspended a game or 2 for his "hit" on Scola. Everybody that I have seen (ESPN, etc) calls it a hockey-style cross check but this isn't hockey. In hockey, they have helmets and padding and Scola had none. What if Scola had hit his head on the floor and had a concussion? If that happens, then the Rockets might not have Scola the rest of playoffs. Now, before this playoff series started, I had a lot of respect for both Kobe and Fisher. Kobe because he has that God-given talent that makes everybody go "whoa, did you see that?" and Fisher for his experience and smarts. After the last 2 games, not so much now.
hj1 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 Ron might get suspeded the whole series for throwin his throat and Kobes elbow..
