I'd be willing to bet that had the Lakers lost Kobe earlier in the season, they wouldn't have even made the playoffs. The Rockets did it without McGrady. Now, take away Gasol (forward/center) and let's see what they could do. I could even make bold predictions for the Lakers not winning again without those two. Ya think?

The Rockets are done. But, I say they will win 1 more, but not the series.

Sure would have liked to seen how this would went if Yao was able. I was really thinking this one to go seven, but not now.

im not counting them out completly yet....

the only good thing about yao going down is that the guys were gonna have on the court are, in the words of kenny smith "pitbulls" and they're gonna leave it all on the court and play their heart out..

I think I can agree the Rockets are done BUT they always seem to step it up and compete when a star goes down. They may make it interesting.
