Jasper Coach Weatherspoon Passes Away

Jasper Track and Football Coach Lloyd Weatherspoon passed away earlier this morning. Please be in prayer for the family. I am good friends with his son and I know this is going to be tough on him.

Coach Spoon has coached in Jasper for decades and led the Bulldogs to a handful of state championships in track. He was also a part of the coaching staff for several good football teams and was a student and fan favorite. I personally believe that he was the best ever coach to come through Jasper High School.

Coach Weatherspoon will be missed greatly. Once again please remember his family in your prayers

Very sad news. Will pray for his family. I enjoyed being around Coach Spoon when was in athletics. He was a nice guy and a great coach.
