You huys would have a blast, I promise you.

Have your wife clear your summer schedule with me before she makes all those conflicting plans. We just want you for 3 or 4 days. She can have you the rest of the year.
Lazeek Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 How about you move the tournament from the weekend of the US Open!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
Guest tigersvoice Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 How about you move the tournament from the weekend of the US Open!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D Well, we've had it on this date for 42 consecutive years - that's older than you are, right? And, that date doesn't seem to be the reason that you don't play in it, now does it? ;D ;D ;D
Lazeek Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Is Randy "Country" Randall playing in the event this year???
AggiesAreWe Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Is Randy "Country" Randall playing in the event this year??? No. He has too many other responsibilities during tournament week to play. Randy Randall is the sole reason our greens are back to top shape. They are 200% better this year than last year. Everyone that played last year that is playing this year will be amazed at how good the greens are.
Lazeek Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Ol Country can still golf his ball!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
AggiesAreWe Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Ol Country can still golf his ball!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D Yes he can. I talked to him yesterday after he got back from playing over there at Idylwild. He said he played okay, shot 76. The tournament is down to just 4 spots open out of the 144 player field. Only need one more spot to fill the pro flight.
AggiesAreWe Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 As of today, our tournament is full. We will take standbys all the way to next Wednesday. It is normal for us to get a couple of cancellations next week, so there is a chance someone could play by being on the waiting list. You can still attend the tourney by purchasing a sponsor packet. For $85 you get two all week tournament badges, 5 meal tickets per badge, and beverages both non and alcoholic all day every day of the tourney. The meals included are a shrimp boil on Thursday evening, hamburgers and all the trimmings at lunch on Friday, catfish dinner on Friday evening, BBQ lunch on Saturday, and our famous and traditional Father's Day fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans on Sunday at lunch. Plus we will have entertainment each night in the clubhouse. Special entertainment on Thursday night, dance with live local band on Friday night, bingo on Saturday night and then awards ceremony with a buffet on Sunday evening.(the buffet is at a nominal fee) Come join in the fun and watch some quality golf as our professional flight is one of the best we have ever had and is as good or better than any local tournament has ever offered.
