Clsof87Pirate Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 New Waverly has a good solid ball team. 20-3 overall, and 14-0 in conference. But they are young and don't have much play-off experience. Deweyville just needs to hit the ball, and they should be ok. New waverly not ranked in the top 25, even with a 20-3 overall record shows how young and inexperienced they must be. Their best 2 pitchers are soph. and fresh.
Clsof87Pirate Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 I forgot,this post is on prediction...Deweyville in a close one 5-4.
Titletown2 Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 The game will be on 5/18 @ 7 p. m. @ Lufkin Hudson.
piratebaseball3 Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 I think it is at lufkin not lufkin hudson
Clsof87Pirate Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Iv'e heard Lufkin also, but have not heard which field. there are a half dozen fields in Lufkin that this could be played on.
Buna baseball 13 Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 i'm gonna take Deweyville by 7. if these boys can play their best then waverly wont be a problem for em. good luck Dville
hornetdad23 Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 hey guys just to let yalll know. new waverly has a VERY good team. yes they are young but they have very good hitters and extremely good pitching. they are strong all the way around. I am from trinity and watched them against trinity who also has a good team and they dominated them. their freshman pitcher they have throws in the mid 80s and the soph they have throws in the upper 80s may even hit 90. dont let the inexperience fool u. I think it will be a pitching duel. but good luck ;D
HOSSFAN Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 No worries! The pirates have several strong pitchers, hitters, and catchers! Show em' what you got DP!!
