I was only there 2 inning but in the second the wheels fell off, pitchers couldn't find the strike zone. After the first pitcher was taken out the second kid gave up a grand slam, a few pitches later the umpire still wouldn't call strikes even though I didn't think he was doing a bad job and the kid started mouthing and was held back at that point by his catcher. From there my buddy who is the head coach removed that player from the game which I believe was the right thing to do then things got worse from there.
AshlyHasBeen Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Honestly I don't think the kid would have done anything, you know how it is when you're mad and one of your friends "hold" you back after a little push. Still totally uncalled for but these are kids and we all make mistakes. I was just happy to see my friend pull the kid out even though it was a playoff game.
