Gabe Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Good solid win by the Cards. Cameron Yoe will be a team to look out for the next two years. They had 12 players with only 2 seniors and one junior, the rest sophomores. They made great plays and then would have a mistake, a sign of a young team. They will come around. BC vs. OF will be a great series.
adminbaberuth Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 BC jumped out quick, hit the ball to all fields gathering 12 hits, lead by Anthony Cessac who had I think had 4. Hicks was Hicks on the mound and the Cardinals played flawless defense. Orangefield / BC series will be a good one.

Very well behaved team that played the game right. Best of luck to Yoe next season.

BCcardbacker Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Great game Cards! Bats were hot and defense was solid! I could go on and on about the hits and defensive plays, but the two that stand out in my mind are centerfielder Dustin Breaux who scooped a basehit up the middle and came up firing a bullet to home plate and Blake Snyder at first who jumped in the air to save an overthrow and keep the runner to one base! Like I said, the team played great, and it's plays made like the one's mentioned above that win championships! Keep it up and stay focused on Orangefield! Proud of all of you!
