Matt Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Nederland could have a pretty good shot at lamarque, lamarque is usually a slow starter, it takes a few games for them to get in the groove, maybe catching them early will surprise them
KFDM COOP Posted June 14, 2006 Author Report Posted June 14, 2006 I believe LaMarque lost some key players but always reload. Hopefully Nederland will pull it off.
WOS92 Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 I'm thinking Nederland has a shot, but Brenham will be a tough day for PN-G. If the mid-county teams were switched, I'd say PN-G had a shot against LM, but that Brenham would be a tough day for Big Ned. Brenham is looking like the real deal.
NDN Band Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 In response to WOS92's post above, (now correct me if I'm wrong) I believe that the teams do switch next year. PN-G facing LM and Ned/Brenham. That Ned/Brenham matchup is a game I'd like to see!
KFDM COOP Posted June 14, 2006 Author Report Posted June 14, 2006 Nederland and Brenham will play next season. Brenham is losing their Stud QB after this season, not sure who will replace him but it could be an interesting game.
Guest Living 4 Friday Nights Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Could be but man Brenham has got to the point where they just reload every year and not just in Baseball.
DP#1FAN Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 I hope Nederland and PNG win. It would be great for the area. Nederland has the better shot to win I think. PNG wil have to play a great game to pull there game out. Best of luck to both teams.
Guest Living 4 Friday Nights Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 I hope they do to but it's unlikely this Year.
KFDM COOP Posted June 19, 2006 Author Report Posted June 19, 2006 Great place to start week 0 though in Houston.
Guest Living 4 Friday Nights Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 I say LaMarque by 14 and Brenham by 28. Had to up it a little.
KFDM COOP Posted June 22, 2006 Author Report Posted June 22, 2006 im confused kfdm coop.are you saying they will be slaughtered or it'll be a good game? I'm hoping it will be a good game.
KFDM COOP Posted June 27, 2006 Author Report Posted June 27, 2006 I hope Nederland and PNG win. It would be great for the area. Nederland has the better shot to win I think. PNG wil have to play a great game to pull there game out. Best of luck to both teams. Man that Brenham QB is the real deal.
godogs Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 http://texasprepxtra.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=54925&sport=1 <<<<<< will become the real deal pretty soon
KFDM COOP Posted June 27, 2006 Author Report Posted June 27, 2006 Saw him last Year, he'll have a great future.
KFDM COOP Posted July 11, 2006 Author Report Posted July 11, 2006 Predictions? Nederland/LaMarque? PN-G/Brenham?
Guest Jody Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Predictions? Nederland/LaMarque? PN-G/Brenham? Without any question what so ever, I am afraid the Golden Triangle will start 0-2. Even though I gve them heck, I am pulling for the underdogs here. After all, they are in our Region. Good luck!
tvc184 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Yes, Nederland and PNG will likely start out with a double header loss at Reliant Stadium. Anything else would be a pretty big upset. The preseason rankings show La Marque and Brenham in the top 5 in the state. It does not take a whole lot of insight and football knowledge to make the prediction on these games. The Mid-County crowds are going to be hoping for that big upset that people will be talking about in years to come and if not, at least make a good showing of it and gain some good experience. Just the fact that the Mid-County schools were invited to play in a double header game for two years in Reliant Stadium is a pretty big deal. I have no idea of the inside dealings on getting the games scheduled but I would imagine it has something to do with the reputation of the fan base. I hardly think Reliant would be a scheduled game for an out of town school that would show up with 500 fans. Just think of the tongues that would be wagging if MC started out 2-0.
KFDM COOP Posted July 11, 2006 Author Report Posted July 11, 2006 You never know. Coach Newman will have them ready you can count on that.
KJB324 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 These are the first games of the season none of the teams wii be in top shape yet so a big blowout is doubtful.
Guest Living 4 Friday Nights Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 I would love to see Mid county pull these 2 games out but just ain't gonna happen this year.
