Legendary coach Roy Harper is returning to Burkeville next year to try and revitalize a once proud football tradition. Will he suceed?

no matter who there coach is as long as they have the same kids on the team that were on there this year they will be last in the district

they are way to little if they had some size they mite be a little better but i think it will be a few years till they get better

They WILL get better...may not see big gains this year but you better keep an eye to the woods in Newton County, Harper knows how to get em out to play.  They will no doubt see an increase in transfers from Newton and maybe Jasper (obviously not starters from either of those schools), but the number of kids will increase.  He's good for morale and good for the kids.  Give him some time, but not much!!

I agree with BIGMO they will get better and they will have transfers but if there opponents come to play i dont see them as a realy big threat..

Well... ...I don't know about all that but look at their numbers this year and look at em again in two years and there should be an increase in numbers, maybe industry will bring em in, I don't know.  BUT, I believe Roy will have the fellas passing in class and doing the right things, he's pretty good for the kids and will be an asset for Bville.  They've been so bad the last few years it may take a year or two but they'll be competitive before long.    JMO

Sounds like one of the moves was for athletic purposes, either going or coming back if not what made the frist move necessary and what about Burkeville changes to make the move back something you will do?
