silsbee12 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Silsbee has talent at the freshman level. Speed and Size. I wouldn't be surprised to see Silsbee used two or three of the young guns on the O-line next year. These boys are Big! You cant see over them or around them. Bridge City's freshman class is full of athletes. I don't see many of them being held back from Varsity. I know the two guys from silsbee that your talking about. Thay are just big, not very good.
77 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 A kid from LCM named Reed I think will make a showing the next couple years, did good in the discus this year, big kid.
tech35 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Memorial has a freshman by the name of Nate Holmes, he's 6' and by far the fastest kid in the school. He led the freshman team to a district championship, and that includes a victory over North Shore.
TheBigSwitch Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 I don't remeber seeing him when they played WOS.
poseidon Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 A kid from LCM named Reed I think will make a showing the next couple years, did good in the discus this year, big kid. His name is Hayden Reed and he is a stud. They have him playing tackle, but he is strongest at end, he will have a good showing this year.
MMSLB Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Reed is a big athletic kid!!! Another great kid from a great family. The sky is the limit for him. Hayden works hard, and has all the character traits you wish for in a young man.
Anafanatic Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Justin Albritton will be a soph. and made 1st team all-state DB as a freshman last season for the Panthers!!!!!
bojofootball Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 LCM will have a strong receiving core, along with HG at QB, along with others. and the hayden reed kid is HUGE. Not very fast, but strong and could definately play with varsity if he matured. but overall he is great, especially at the shot and disc!

You are mistaken about his speed, he has plenty of speed and he could have played with LCM's varsity last year.
bojofootball Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Maybe so, I really hope he has a chance to this year, and especially next year he could REALLY make some noise

BHtheHill Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 BH had a strong Freshman group last year. Should be 3 or 4 that are making plays on Varsity this upcoming season.
pngfan1 Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 PNG hasn't historically put any Freshman on varsity. I remember Dustin Long being moved up for playoffs, and Derrick Gohlke getting moved up late in season. I guess with the new regime this could be subject to change (who knows).

Reuter & McSwain were both Freshmen last year. Also Perry Robinson was an outstanding playmaker on the 8th grade team. He missed his Freshman season last year due to back surgery. He will be playing on Friday nights this year & also McMillen probably a DB & Braden Matthews a big offensive lineman & possibly a couple more.
pngfan1 Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 Freshman team was very good last year, we should have several Soph's that should contribute.
