AggiesAreWe Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 I have not heard anything on the job opening. My guess is that a coach that is already on staff, who has coached the Silsbee varsity girls team before, could be the replacement.
Master T Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Coach Killam not coaching basketball anymore. If this is true and my sources are right then there is an assistant/freshman boys basketball coach of silsbee that you are referring to that will take over the girls program next year.

Bush was the coach I was referring to and he is staying on the boys side. I do not know who the new girls coach will be.

hoops2000 Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 JASON SANDERS was at Caldwell for 3 seasons....before that was head coach at Johnson City. Seems like a great guy. I know he works extremely hard.

Not sure they have ever made the playoffs in hoops...but they dominate in volleyball...then allthose good athletes play winter club volleyball then spring and summer volleyball. He was in a tough district with Madisonville, Taylor, Navasota and Bryan Rudder...but did finish behind all those and ahead of Cameron and Rockdale.
AntoineMcGillicuddy Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Caldwell coach did not finish the season over there this year. Left in December. I hope Silsbee was informed of this..... Hoops is correct - Pat Summit couldn't win district at Caldwell.
