TexasTerror Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 I thought this was a Lamar message board... ??? Oh yeah, forgot all the individuals on this board (i.e AggiesAreWe, UNLV) who put Lamar second....
Gtj007 Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 You're one to talk Terror. You come on here spouting off about SHSU ALL the time!!!
UNLV Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 I thought this was a Lamar message board... ??? Oh yeah, forgot all the individuals on this board (i.e AggiesAreWe, UNLV) who put Lamar second.... Doesn't TexasTerror lives in New Orleans Louisiana?
Guest coachacola Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 Terror must be in a bad mood because SHSU went 0-2 at the baseball regionals in Houston.
TexasTerror Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 Terror must be in a bad mood because SHSU went 0-2 at the baseball regionals in Houston. Nope, just happy to be there and more than happy with what we have coming back, as we should be back again. And worth noting, SHSU has four NCAA appearances in Lamar's "flagship sports" of basketball and baseball since the last Cardinals' appearance in the NCAAs in said sport. Also had been awhile since I picked on you guys. No one had opened one up like that in awhile.

It is disappointing to see the SLC go 0-4 in the regionals, especially with Texas State being a 2 seed.

I agree - last sport left on the calendar is the NCAA T&F championships. SHSU is sending six people (5 men, 1 woman) there. Hopefully there are a few others around the SLC - so we can get some national accolades!

I find it extremely strange that you would not count LU golf as a "flagship sport" they have been outstanding the last few years. Wow, do your really live in New Orleans, and are a SHSU fan, what's wrong do they not have their own forum for you to blow your horn on.......
TexasTerror Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 I find it extremely strange that you would not count LU golf as a "flagship sport" they have been outstanding the last few years. Would've never known based on the amount of discussion (or lack their of) as it relates to Hugues Joannes at the NCAAs. He got two posts. Not even much talk about the NCAA Regionals. I guess the fans here are not representative of the whole...and if you said golf was your "flagship", I'd say track and field was ours. I love T&F, but none of the "Joe Fans" care. Wow, do your really live in New Orleans, and are a SHSU fan, what's wrong do they not have their own forum for you to blow your horn on....... KatFans.com is our SHSU forum. Come over and visit! And yes, I am a SHSU fan - actually ALUM - but not all individuals who graduate from a school bury their roots in the immediate area of their alma mater (or for that matter, their hometown).
AshlyHasBeen Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 Well our (LU) old golf coach is now the head coach at Arkansas who finished second, Blake McMakin, and the kid that lost the final match at the very end Adam Landry went to PN-G.

AshlyHasBeen Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 Sorry I know LOL I've interviewed him enough in the past just wasn't thinking.
