These were the dates that I found on a Georgia State board...

Lamar will be playing at Georgia State on Nov. 6, 2010 and then hosting Georgia State on Sept. 15, 2012.

Solid series. Opening year at the GeorgiaDome and then they come to Cardinal Stadium in 2012.

Thanks for the update.  Lamar may be playing a lot of road games to start the 2010 season if they don't get started on the stadium!!

that may not be a bad idea though.. they'll get more experience playing in a tougher environment. they'll get to play in front of very big crowds. and plus, why hurry on the stadium.

you don't wanna make mistakes and have to spend that money again to renovate mistakes.

I believe SHSU is the first known home game for Cardinal Stadium...

We can always move that game to Huntsville or even the Berry Center at a neutral site in Houston... ;)

Reliant stadium!!

I think LU sweep Georgia st. LU is picking up incredible talent for a first year program.

And this is said without having any idea why Georgia State is picking up, correct? Must say the coverage that GSU has had in their start up has been sensational and all other start up programs as of late pale in comparison.  And UNLV - have you seen what kind of talent UTSA has picked up? Most recent commit picked UTSA over Big 12 schools who had already offered...

you gotta use your noggin there terror.. he will be a star from day one at UTSA. heck, probably a 4 year starter and will end up in their hall of fame. in the big 12, he might only have 2 years of playing time.

kinda like how cmike picked A&M, he'll probably be the starter next year.. kinda like jamaal was at UT his freshman year.

instead of sittin a year or two at most places, he'll be an impact player right away.

There are a lot of players, who despite having a good chance of being a starter and increase his chances at the NFL by going FCS, head to FBS - regardless if it's A&M or Louisiana-Lafayette. It's a shame too.

Of course, the allure of UTSA is that it's neat starting something new and they are telling these guys that they get to play in the Alamodome and help the program land in FBS.

it's cause ppl think that if you don't go D1, then you don't have an NFL future.

Every year players from SFA, McNeese, Tarleton (D2), Sam Houston, and Nicholls State get drafted.

Even this year Abilene Christian (D2) had more players drafted than Miami (FL) University!

Whatever Georgia State has coming in, they've already done America a favor by getting Bill Curry out of the broadcast booth.  Negative and preachy, he always know more than the coaches who haven't been fired yet.  Now if someone would just hire Bob "one syl a ble at a time" DAVE e........
