Do rankings really mean anything this time of year anyway? Heck, pre season rankings barely hold water most of the time, much less this time of year. Win what you're supposed to and the rankings will be what they are supposed to be in the end.

Five of last week's top ten have lost. Nederland potentially could move up a few spots, maybe even to a top five.

As bzzboyz and MrUmp1 have pointed out (and what everyone already knows), rankings are for discussions and mine is bigger than yours. That is especially true in high school where you have a real chance to make you case on the field or court, unlike college where you may need to be ranked to even get a shot.
