Bonnie Richardson from Rochelle won the 1A Championships by herself for the 2ND YEAR IN A ROW!!!! Thats just amazing.

She was 1st in the Long Jump(17-04.5),2nd in Discus(126-09),1st in High Jump(5-08.00),4th in the 100m(12.51) and 3rd in the 200m(25.78). She finished with a total of 38 points. The second place team had 36 points and only had to get 5th in the mile relay to win..they finished 7th. Great story, congrats to Bonnie!

As Kanye West sings (in that song that is being played for the NBA playoffs)....SIMPLY AMAZING!  Does she play any other sports because she has good size and obviously just a little bit of athletic ability?

I think we talked about this last year, she could be an awesome heptathlete if she chooses that path.
