Dude starts off today being 4 strokes off and wins by two in the end. The man is not human, the last two holes are truly amazing and if he had chipped in the one on 16 from the fringe it would have been even worse. Furyk had to hit one in from 170 out for an eagle to tie, and Byrd had a shot but could not putt in the end.

I honestly think that we are witnessing quite possibly the best golfer in history, he is already in my opinion the best golfer of the modern era and closing in on The Bear and Arnie as being the most beloved.

Yeah I forgot that Furyk made his putts in the last hole. ONce it was official after the second shot did not go in I left to get something to drink.

I was flipping between the Astros and Tiger all afternoon, and amazingly enough my wife watched with me the whole time. She hates sports but loves Tiger, sat through his US Open win last year too, any time he is on she will stop what she is doing and watch. That is how I know he is the real deal because if she knows who someone is that is not in a Jane Austen novel it is a big deal!!

Tiger is the best of all time.  look what he's doing so soon after such serious injuries.  according to the commentators (as well as Mr. Nicklaus himself), tiger has been playing tentatively since he's come back, like he's afraid to hurt himself again.  as "badly" as he's golfed since coming back, he now has two wins and 5 top-10s in just seven events.  and he's been OFF, as anyone who's watched could tell.  the last two rounds of this tourney are the first i've seen him start to show a little of what he was doing before the injury.  now that he's starting to feel more confident that he won't re-hurt himself, i'm assuming he'll start dominating again.  or he might just keep golfing "badly" and finish the season with 5 or 6 wins and 15 or so top-10s.

Tiger displayed yesterday why he is the best of all time and will continue to improve every single week for the foreseeable future.  What many people do not realize is for a year tiger was playing on a knee that would keep anyone from playing but because of how tough and great he is he played.  Tiger depended so much on timing over the last year he has had to spend so much time getting used to being able to get to his left side on the golf swing.  Last year he could not do that.  I believe you are about to see a 2 to 3 year stretch that will solidify Tiger as the best of all time and when he starts hitting fairways the whole world is in trouble.

Completely agree with that last statement.  I commented to my wife that Tiger was probably sitting in his hotel with his hot wife saying that if he shot a 65-66 he could make a run at the win and then he goes out and does it. Seriously, if he chipped in that one from the fringe he would have shot a 64.

Then he shows his class by stopping and acknowledging Jack at the end as he was coming off. Tiger knows exactly what to say and what to do and guys like LeBron should watch him as an example of an athlete, and using LeBron's words competitor, and how you should act as a professional.

Y'all are absolutely right. I turned on the tube and watched him play the last 9 holes yesterday. You KNEW by his intensity he would win. Tiger can ramp it up into a gear no one else has. There was NO DOUBT he would take the win yesterday. An amazing performace by a first class golfer and getleman.
