He was projected at one point to be the #4 pick. Signability issues had him dropping to the Yankess at #29. I had assumed the Rangers had some kind of deal in place...however, I just saw a story where he is asking for $7 mil. He has a commitment w/ TCU. If he doesn't sign w/ the Rangers he will end up at Angelina Junior College. He is originally from Lufkin where he has worked w/ Angelina head coach/pitching coach, Jeff Livin for years. Fastball touches 96, great curveball, very smooth, efficient delivery. Very polished for a high school pitcher.
