Important number is Nederland is 5-1 since 2000 over PNG. :shock: Newmann owns Burnett. Take away the 2 Dustin Long wins in 98, 99 and the Dogs own the decade. Burnett needs this to change in a hurry!!! :evil: :evil:

Plenty of good rivalries in the area, but none are as storried or as intense as Ned/PNG.

nope...both Cooks are graduated. As for if it continuing, Nederland will be the favorites, but theres a long time before the game. Anything can happen before then. Out strength right now is run defense. Brenham didnt even run at will on us. It will be interesting to see the Fischer defense vs Mosley matchup. Strength on strength. PNG MUST develop some sort of passing game or everyones going to give us trouble this year. Time will tell if it happens.....

For years, the biggest rivalrys have been PN-G vs Nederland, WO-S vs. LC-M, the Beaumont Bowl between the three teams, even Jasper vs. Newton is very entertaining!!!!!

Lumberton vs. Vidor has been there for years as far as district goes. Not a very big rivalry there as far as teams go. As far as individuals with opinions about their teams.................... gonna plead the 5th on this cause individuals lately love to let their mouths run when it comes to answering OPINIONS!!!!!!!!!

Definitely PNG/Nederland. Going to a MCM game is an experience. So many fans from both sides. The sheer electricity in this game atmosphere is awesome. PNG/Nederland support each other all year, except for this one week....then, we become worst enemies!

The quote you keep as your signature was one of my first post in this forum. I also have said numerous times that I was trying to take the high road and show class. But just when I then you have simmered down with the comebacks, you have to show your "CLASS" minus the C-L.
