Guest spinks Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 without shaking anyones hand. I watched it with my own two eyes. He was in the locker room QUICKLY!!!! No one is saying anything???
Guest DickVitale Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 But he was a man about it and talked to the media afterwards....Come on spinks, you know the difference.....Lebron was pouting and acting like a baby....I guarantee you the league will not fine Kobe for leaving the floor, because he talked to the media...I understand players get frustrated, but all Lebron had to do was talk to the media....Just watch the END of this series....Win or lose, Kobe will congratulate the other side after the game...He did last year in Boston...
Guest JoesBros Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Why would the leauge fine Kobe?????? Kobe haha NBA fine Kobe???? Kobe gets fined???? LMAO that will never happen in a million years go freaking figure
Guest DickVitale Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 My point was what he and Lebron did were at totally different ends of the spectrum...The series is not over, and during the regular season the NBA guys don't usually shake hands really either...At the end of the series marks the end of the season, and I feel at that point, guys should congratulate their counterparts on that stage, and they normally do.
Guest JoesBros Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Oh I know what you mean but I just dont like Kobe lol
AggiesAreWe Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 My point was what he and Lebron did were at totally different ends of the spectrum...The series is not over, and during the regular season the NBA guys don't usually shake hands really either...At the end of the series marks the end of the season, and I feel at that point, guys should congratulate their counterparts on that stage, and they normally do. I agree with DV. That was two different sitiuations. Kobe is still in the series, Lebron's was over. I think you will see everyone shake hands at the end of this series, whoever wins it. Spinks, you're reaching a bit here.
bullets13 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 But he was a man about it and talked to the media afterwards....Come on spinks, you know the difference.....Lebron was pouting and acting like a baby....I guarantee you the league will not fine Kobe for leaving the floor, because he talked to the media...I understand players get frustrated, but all Lebron had to do was talk to the media....Just watch the END of this series....Win or lose, Kobe will congratulate the other side after the game...He did last year in Boston... to me, the deciding factor should not have anything to do with whether or not he talked to the media. the sportsmanship issue is much more important than the media issue. of course, the NBA is a business, so who cares about sportsmanship as long as Kobe's interview will be on sportscenter!
Guest DickVitale Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Well Bullets, by him talking to the media, he was able to address EVERYONE, including the opposition at that time...He was not being a sour puss when he left the floor after game 3, I dont think...He just... left the floor! LOL
Razor Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 In general, I like Lebron and don't really care for Kobe, but the situations are not comparable at all...Kobe's series is far from over and he did actaully talk ot the media...Lebron's season and series were done and he did not handle it in a very mature fashion IMO.
wos08 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Lebron got KNOCKED OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS Kobes series is not over And Kobe got fined earlier in the regular season for having headphones ---around his neck--- during the postgame conference
BLUEDOVE3 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Oh I know what you mean but I just dont like Kobe lol Like Kobe or not, but I would advise any student/athlete to study Kobe's game and learn from a master ( other than Isaiah Thomas).
Guest JoesBros Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Dont get me wrong he is a heck of a player but, i dont like the atitude he gets when he pushes off or fouls someone and throws his hand up and acts like he didnt do anything.
baddog Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Dont get me wrong he is a heck of a player but, i dont like the atitude he gets when he pushes off or fouls someone and throws his hand up and acts like he didnt do anything. Yeah, he's even worse than Tim Duncan. Kobe had to leave the floor so no one could see him crying.. :'(
joebdun Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Dont get me wrong he is a heck of a player but, i dont like the atitude he gets when he pushes off or fouls someone and throws his hand up and acts like he didnt do anything. Yeah, he's even worse than Tim Duncan. Kobe had to leave the floor so no one could see him crying.. :'( Why would Kobe be crying? He is up 2 to1 and the Mag had to shoot at record high % to even get close. Do you Realy think they will shoot that well again( NOT) LA is just making it go more than 4 stait wins. To much money to be made with every home game. Jack has to pay Kobe's salary
baddog Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Just a joke, but Kobe is a crybaby. You don't think the Lakers would sweep these guys if they could? Magic didn't shoot that high of a % in game two and should have won that one.
Guest JoesBros Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Im not saying anything about him in the Finals he's just a crybaby period and thinks just because he is "KOBE" he can get away with anything on the court.
wos08 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Actually the Wizards should be in the finals, but they arent
baddog Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Actually the Wizards should be in the finals, but they arent Huh??
joebdun Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Actually the Wizards should be in the finals, but they arent What?? thats a joke wright???
bullets13 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Well Bullets, by him talking to the media, he was able to address EVERYONE, including the opposition at that time...He was not being a sour packer when he left the floor after game 3, I dont think...He just... left the floor! LOL i didn't see the postgame interview. did he address leaving the court?
wos08 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Actually the Wizards should be in the finals, but they arent Huh?? It was a joke about you saying magic shouldve won game 2, referencing the whole shoulda/coulda/woulda thing for the Wizards
baddog Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 Dude, I figured that's what you were getting at. My shoulda, woulda, coulda remark was simply to rubutt the fact that someone said the Magic ''HAD TO"" shoot 64% just to stay close. Game two, they didn't shoot 64% and should have won on the goal tend. Read more closely please.
