bigdaddyblue Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Which district is stronger this year???
dayton Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 top to bottom I'd say 20 - 4A. Top 4, I think would be pretty close... if no. 1 played no. 1, no. 2 played no. 2, etc......
BHFAN Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 20 4A will be top dog until 19 4A can atleast split the playoff 1st round match ups. Will it happen this year.............................................Stay tuned

NF and CEK lost to Central and Nederland.

dayton Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 3 of the 4 games were fairly close also.... dayton by 11 (much closer than the score, IMO) 39-28 Ned by 1 ... a good back and forth game. decided by a missed XP. 35-34 Crosby by 10 ... close most of the game. 31-21 Central won 21-0
dayton Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Would love to see a Dayton Vs Central Matchup me too!!
pngfan1 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Sounds like 194A will be tougher this year than in the past. It will make for some good Bi District games. Although we get to play Crosby and Barbers Hill the first two weeks of the season. We were fortunate enough to squeak out of both of those with wins which were few and far in between last season. Hopefully you will see a much improved PNG this season.

Not sure that BH could happen with the d1 d2 thing though.
pngfan1 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Yeah it would be neat to see the difference in the teams in the playoffs versus pre district.

FOOTBALLFEVER99 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 I agree. Stadium pictures look awesome. Its nice to see a class program get a facility like that. It will do the entire community good. But I would sure like to spoil the opener and sneak out of there with a win! Eagles will be ready! I heard BH is going to do a "redo"of their stadium after the 2010 season, new turf and scoreboard.

I hope so! I drove by yesterday and they have the press box and elevator tore down.
bojonomore Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 I think both of the districts are two of upper echelon as far as state wide, maybe not at the top but top-to-bottom...it's a great area for football 8)
bronco1 Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 This question will be answered in week 11. 20-4A is the the more traditionally strong district based on the paste acheivements of GT teams. 19-4A is looking better Dayton, Crosby, BH and in the next few years GCM will be strong teams.
