Lufkin 7, thats wierd.  They lost two d-lineman and their JV was horrible

I mean they have 3 blue chips on defense this year IMO but the offense is lacking lineman and a QB

with me knowing what they lost and knowing what they gonna have on the roster next year they would be in the top 25 but not top 10 thats for sure. The D is gonna be good as always, its the inexperience at the QB position is whats gonna hurt them in winning district. Woodlands is my pick to win their district. I'd switch them with the Woodlands at #20.

If those 3A rankings pan out, it looks to be another tough and rumble year in Region III.

Gilmer and Carthage both have outside chances of going DI though.  If Tyler Chapel Hill is shut out of the playoffs Gilmer is DI and if Jasper is shut out of the playoffs Carthage goes DI.

If they both go DI they would play each other in the 1st round of the playoffs

87, I do notice that you used the word "outside" and I think I know why.  I don't know enough yet to comment on Chapel Hill......but given the current makeup of District 18-3A, I don't see Jasper getting shut out of the playoffs.

Quite a few of the Gilmer folk I've chatted with think there's a definite possibility that Chapel Hill will not make it
