They went 2-1 in pool play and won the 1st bracket game 7-4. Beat Houston Power 10- 0 in the 2nd bracket game. They play Sun at 2 pm in the winners bracket. Way to go ladies. ;D

Crush 12u lost 5-3 in the championship to Bombers out of the New Braufels area. A great weekend by all the girls . Crush has had lots of success at USFA State tournaments in the past. Slam won it with a 12 u and a 14u . Congrats to COLLINS/WORTHY on a great run. Next up MISSISSIPPI. ;D

  Congratulations to CRUSH 12U Collins/Worthy on what sounds like a great weekend at the USFA state tourney.  This is a great group of young athletes who represent our area well.  Again, congrats to all the girls and coaches.

From what I have heard the Crush girls made quite an impression on the host team Bombers. They were really big ,strong kids that hit the ball well and were a very CLASSY bunch of coaches, players and fans. they kept asking about the CRUSH teams and invited all from our area to come play out that way whenever possible. For those who have not seen Crush Collins , we are a VERY SMALL bunch of kids who play lots of SMALL ball. Slapping, bunting and good defense is our formula for success. We also have several good young pitchers but no dominant type of pitching. Coaching could be better ;D but you can't have everything. ;D ;D John Collins (SHORTY SHORTS CRACK ZIPPER) looks and acts just like his DADDY (CRUSHCOACH) ;D ;D ;D but with hair. ;D

The Orange Crush 12u (Collins) placed 2nd in the USFA 12u state tournament this past weekend in Seguin, Texas. The Crush lost to the Texas Bombers from New Braunfels 5-3, in a championship game that ended at 11:30 p.m. Sunday night. These girls played 5 games on Saturday and 4 games on Sunday in 100 degree plus weather.
