In 2000 they had a 4-1 district record and lost to Nederland in the first round of the playoffs.

With 18 starters coming back from a scrappy team I think they should at least be considered as the district champion. Whether or not they win it remains to be seen but saying they will make the playoffs should be a pretty safe bet. IMO

I like Vidor's chances, I say they will be in the playoffs. I have always liked Matthews and wish him the best of luck.
