bullets13 Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 I just got in, but Texas just scored 6 runs in the 4th to tie the game at 6! so much for small ball!
bullets13 Posted June 16, 2009 Author Report Posted June 16, 2009 still tied, two out for ASU in the bottom of the 5th
Englebert Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 Does anybody know of a radio station or other broadcast I can use for sound and mute these damn ESPN commentators? They're more interested in having conversations about baseball in general, movies, etc. The actual game is just an afterthought. And if I hear one more reference to the pro game, I'm gonna lose it. The first 2000 references weren't too bad, but the last 3500 have been unbearable. I have XM, so if it's on that let me know what channel. I would prefer a local station with lower paid commentators (the lower the pay, the better the commentator IMO).
bullets13 Posted June 16, 2009 Author Report Posted June 16, 2009 Texas leads 7-6 going into the bottom of the 7th.

bullets13 Posted June 16, 2009 Author Report Posted June 16, 2009 Final! Those overrated horns keep on winning!
Gabe Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 Hey bullets bro, I thought Texas couldn't score?? :D
bullets13 Posted June 16, 2009 Author Report Posted June 16, 2009 Hey bullets bro, I thought Texas couldn't score?? :D yeah, well, you know LSU would've scored 25, but i guess a win is a win.
EAGLE07 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 I like my crow my sauce on the side. ;D 8) 8) 8)
TradinUp BH Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Texas suprised me with the comeback. Where's the crow? I'll take a little bit ;D
LLDad Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Hopefully they can keep hitting (I think even Augie was shocked). Would love to see a Texas vs LSU series.
setxguru Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 I don't think that Texas is as good as some of the teams that they have beaten lately, but they just find ways to win games! Sometimes that is what makes teams great!
baddog Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Texas had 15 hits (14 bunts :) Both starting pitchers were yanked earlier than they had been all year, one (Ruffin) the earliest of his career. Ah, the pressures of the CWS. Then Texas throws a freshman (Jungman) in there and he kills ASU. Texas used two pitchers while ASU used five. It was just luck. I can't believe the #1 seed won that game. : Hook 'Em !!
Gabe Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 How were 14 of them bunts when Rupp hit two homers?
baddog Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Yeah, but Rupp was trying to bunt, he just hit 'em a tad too hard. Just a little sarcasm for the non-believers.
Guest JoesBros Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 For the record as an LSU fan I never talked crap on TU's hitting abilities Im actually for the first time in my life pulling for them to keep winning so the real trash talk can start up next week
