State Championship Coaches!!

I ran into one of my old buddies from the west Texas area the other day and he was knocking the coaching in SETX.  He went on and on about all the talent the area had but the lack of championships won.  I then started making a list of all sports that have won area Championships and it was actually more than I thought.  I included all sports and coaches that I know, but help me out if I have left anyone off.  I went back about 25 years.

Football

Yes, to both.  They won the PVIL 1A State Championship in 1949 and the PVIL 2A State Championship in 1954.  Wallace was also the place where All-Pro "Big Cat" Ernie Ladd (probably known more around here for his career in professional wrestling) played his high school ball.

Kenneth Skidmore won the State Championship in football at Hull-Daisetta in 1979. This is still the only state championship in football in Liberty County.

Not from the Hill but Barbers Hill won several state championships boys and girls-do not know the coaches or years.Somebody that knows please post.
