EAGLE07 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Former LCM Bear and Angelina Roadrunner Jerrod Dugas will continue his baseball career after signing with UH-Victoria on Monday, June 15th. UH-Victoria is a NAIA division school that will be playing their 3rd season this year. The Jaguars finished 29-2 in their 1st season and finished 34-17 last year, advancing to the NAIA World Series where they won two games. The Jags are coached by former Houston Astro great Terry Puhl. Dugas is an athletic player who can play all 9 positions and hit for average w/ power. This is a great opportunity for Jerrod and for the UH-Victoria baseball program. Bears Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Signed with UT-PanAM in 2006 played his freshman yr before transferring to Angelina, redshirted last year due to arm surgery and returned this year playing MIF for the RR. He is excited about playing for Coach Puhl knowing all of the experience and success he has had in the big leagues. Great opportunity and a really great place. A few BC boys are already there in Derrick Coleman-2b and Darly Stevens-RHP
