Former Port Arthur Memorial High School guard J'Covan Brown will begin classes at the University of Texas June 9 according to his father.

Johnny Ray Brown told FOX 26 Sports Monday his son, a highly sought after basketball player, is academically eligible and is ready to play for the Longhorns beginning with the 2009-2010 season.

Very interesting.  The "close source" says he is leaving on 6-21-09 for classes that began on 6-9-09?

Seeing is believing...But in this case and on this soap opera...If I actually saw it, i would get a 2nd and 3rd confirmation.Never seen so much attention due to something so pitiful, the whole dramatic ending, re-ending, begining, false starts and mis-guided information has been, well...... laughable...thanks for the memories!!!
