EAGLE07 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Nice play by Landry the LF for LSU What a catch ! Jungmann is dealing. Let's go Horns !
bullets13 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 horns still rolling! got a huge out when LSU left early on a sac fly
old doc Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 These 2 teams have played some outstanding baseball. They are by far the best 2.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 9th inning, time to put these boys away. HOOK EM!

adminbaberuth Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 make up call on balk which wasn't needed
westend1 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Wow! I guess Texas took advantage of the big field and field turf again.   ;D
EAGLE07 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Tx fans, don't forget lsu is up in the series 1-0 By the way nice stats for cole, 5-3Â That'd be 1-1.....series is even.
EAGLE07 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Is Jungman a Freshman? Jungmann is a true freshman out of 5A Georgetown, Texas. Pitched @ 2A Rogers thru either his sophmore or junior season....not sure which. Very, very bright future.
Gabe Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 LSU is going to be a tough out tomorrow. What a game and what a series. This is every reason why I love baseball. This series has had it all. If you don't watch this series and enjoy it no matter who you are pulling for, then give up. This is baseball at its best, no matter what level. Some of the pros need to watch this and be jealous of the passion and desire these two teams are showing. I can't wait for tomorrow no matter who wins. I just want to watch some baseball.
Guest setxgal Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 El tigre....the beginning of the end ! I'm not as nice as gabe lol.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Time to watch another UT national title win tomorrow. remember the last time that happened-----football went to LA and got it too  8)
baddog Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Where are all the LSU fans giving kudos to Texas for their huge win?? I congratulated LSU on their win. Hook 'Em!!!
TradinUp BH Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 good job tu, ya'll played good :'( There you happy. Now it's even and tonight for all of the marbles. I still say Geaux Tigers and we will be the Champs tonight ;D
LLDad Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Where are all the LSU fans giving kudos to Texas for their huge win?? I congratulated LSU on their win. Hook 'Em!!! Most people are still asleep at 5:00 am. Geez... Jungmann was just filthy. LSU had nothing for him. We looked lost at the plate tonight and that is due to a true freshman with great stuff. Hopefully we can get to Green tonight. With Renaudo going I feel better. On a side note, I thought Nolan Cain and Daniel Bradshaw were outstanding in relief. Byrd was throwing BP...not sure what Manieri was thinking when he brought him in...he said just a change of pace but... ??? Congrats Horns.

Congrats Horns. I'm up at 4:00 am, but you were up after the game. Just messing with ya. I know about the "IFs" but Texas was one out away from winning game one and we won game two decisively. I like our chances very much. I won't talk smack.
LLDad Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I won't talk smack either (kinda bit me in the a__ last week)...but since we did win game 1 it gave us "control" (and I use that word loosley) of the series. We were able to match up Ross (our #3) with Jungmann (obviously your #1) and now we have Renaudo against Green on 4 days rest instead of having to throw him last night.Â
baddog Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I can promise you this, both teams will throw the kitchen sink tonight, no matter how much rest any have had. Who is the home team and how is that decided? I think this may be the edge for either team...who bats last.
