Fan-nat-ik Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 I normally follow the Bulldogs but couldn't make it to Waller last night so I thought I'd go scout the Indians. I have to agree with everything GoStangs said. They have some great runners and a tough defense. Silsbee seemed to hurt themselves more than anything. They had a ton of penalties and turnovers. The game was actually a lot closer than the score would lead you to believe. I thought I was going to witness an upset. Looks like PNGs biggest liability will be their inability to pass. All in all it was the next best thing to watching the Bulldogs. Congrats NDNs! See you Oct 13! Go Dogs!
PNG Proud Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Thanx. It's always good to win, no matter if it's close or not. I really expected more out of Silsbee's offense, judging by their 1st 2 outings. Our D is pretty good though. I just didn't expect them to hold Silsbee to 9 pts. LOTS of penalties and turn-overs...on both side of the ball. Kinda sloppy actually.
SilsbeeD Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Well png proud, we would always make to about the pn-g 30 and then our drive would stall or we would get penalties in crucial situtations.
PNG Proud Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Yeah SilsbeeD, that's what I meant about a sloppy game. Both sides had trouble holding onto the ball. I'd be interested to know just how many fumbles/penalties there actually were.
MHS32 Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Hey, who's coaching over at Silsbee now???
AggiesAreWe Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Bobby "Bubba" McGallion, son of former longtime Tiger coach Ray "Stud" McGallion.
MHS32 Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Thanks, I didn't know if the McGallion bros. were still on the scene or not.
NoWeakness Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Doesnt surprise me..PNG is a solid orginization
Guest Kelly Football Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I'm beginning to think the indians may have a shot at the playoffs.
mustang mom Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I didn't get to see the stats, but I did see the game. What was the actual number of turnovers for both teams?
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Don't worry Silsbee, BOJO will take care of the Indians this year.
Guest pngpurplenwhite Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Bears beating the Indian???
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Yes i think we will win. If you think BOJO has died think again.
Guest pngpurplenwhite Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Guess we'll see. But LCM has got to start playing beater teams than Kashmere. Our Freshman team could've beaten Kashmere
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Keep laughing.
WOS92 Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Very seriously, folks... the BOJO thing is so lame that it has become a very popular joke. More non-lc people are saying it than LC people are. BOJO!!! My wife and I ROLL laughing every time we see it painted on a car. I mean NO disrespect. You know how if your friend came out wearing cowboy boots and a formal gown with an eye patch, you would say, "You REALLY don't want to wear that?" THAT is how I feel talking to my LC friends about BOJO. Please, stop. Y'all are embarrassing yourselves. I wish you a successful season. I'm doing this for your own good. Anyone?
NewIndian Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Bears, NDNS a contest yeah right :!:
