my advice, get a good guide.  i hear bullets13 Q is an excellent guide for in and around the keys...

I would not be an established guide on the Keys since I have no experience there but for a reduced fee, I would be willing to learn on the job.

tvc and i are offering a group rate.  you pay half as much and get us both, but we drink twice as much of your beer.  (you also will most likely catch half as many fish)

We need to get together with Bullets in a couple weeks and go to sabine lake.  I might take you up on the flyrod offer....I dont remember what kind of shape mine is in.  Would be fun catching reds or specs on a flyrod.

We need to get together with Bullets in a couple weeks and go to sabine lake.  I might take you up on the flyrod offer....I dont remember what kind of shape mine is in.  Would be fun catching reds or specs on a flyrod.

I fished off of the docks in the ship channel two nights ago. I landed five keepers at least 18" each. I lost a big 'un on a RatLTrap. He might have gone 24". He would have been the biggest that I have caught in about four years. I should have had a few more in the box but I had to lift them about 10 feet from the water and over the rail of the docks. Good night though.

I have a friend that has a pier on (Sabine Lake)pleasure island.    If you guys want to go night fishing with a fly rod and catch a ton of undersized reds. trout, etc. let me know.    With about a weeks notice, I can get us on.

i don't know about flyfishing, but i'm willing to try to learn!  just let me know.  i'm always down for a fishing trip!!!
