stang4life Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 Well, whatever the event...she qualified. Nice! What an opportunity for this young lady to travel and compete in Italy. Is she still in high school or did she graduate?

Baller3 Posted July 15, 2009 Author Report Posted July 15, 2009 A'Lexus was one of two(Ashton Purvis, Calif 100m,200m) athletes on the Womens USA team that had multiple events at the 09 World Youth Championships; an awesome accomplishment! Didn't qualify for finals in the triple jump but the only way to not qualify for any event at World Championships is to be at the World Championships; so... Congratulations to this fine young lady who went abroad and represented the Golden Triangle, Texas, and the nation with the utmost integrity and sportsmanship. 8th in the long jump in the world....Awesome!!!!
