ibjcubu Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 We are starting a new 8u Roughrider team for the upcoming 09-10 baseball season. We will be holding tryouts at the Groves baseball fields by the swimming pool. Our goal is to participate in a few 8u coach pitch tournaments to get our kids ready to make the move up to 9u kid pitch. I am expecting a good turnout at the tryouts. We will be playing a tough schedule after we make the move up to 9u. The Roughriders plan on playing 1 to 2 tourneys a month and having 2 practices a week depending on the players and parents. If you are 9 years old before April 30th of 2010 you are inelgible for tryouts.
