HillGuy Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 Couldn't agree more BHFAN.. Jabo can light a fire under anybody because the kids can see he really cares..and the move ins, no doubt many of them are clueless about the BH football tradition... I was a "move-in" my sophomore year...took me about 2 days of 2-a-days to figure it out (after Pete Garner laid the wood to me and then helped me off the ground). But then again, I knew there was something special here, thats why we choose THE HILL. Now I've got two kids who have been here since Kindergarten. There is nothing wrong with "move-ins", they either get a clue quickly or ride the pine. In my humble opinion, move-ins are welcome. Fresh blood is good, but you better respect the tradition and the work ethic or you won't fit in.
bh34 Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Amen Hillguy!!!! I was a move in as well but looked forward to being apart of the great tradition. I fell in love with BH and still love living here now. BH-89, there is hardly a team out there that doesn't have a coach that has moved in from somewhere else. I hope we don't limit ourselves to just hiring coaches that went to school here. I'm all for hiring coaches that are graduates, but that doesn't automatically make them a good coach.
