bmtball Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 Any predictions? At any age.. 11/12 will definitely be West End. They are loaded. Juniors will probably be West End. Seniors will easily be West End as well. Juniors will definitely NOT be West End. Not only will West End have its hands full with Silsbee, but Tomball and Bridge City are just too strong. Seniors will not be West End either because most of their better players are playing select.

sball fever Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 Any predictions? At any age.. 11/12 will definitely be West End. They are loaded. Juniors will probably be West End. Seniors will easily be West End as well. Juniors will definitely NOT be West End. Not only will West End have its hands full with Silsbee, but Tomball and Bridge City are just too strong. Seniors will not be West End either because most of their better players are playing select. West End beat Bridge City last night 4-0 on a no hitter. Tomball slipped by Barbers Hill 8-7. Tonight at 5:30 Barbers Hill and Bridge City in an elimination game. At 8:30 West End and Tomball in the winners bracket game. After seeing all 4 teams, there is not a team that West End can not beat if they play their game. If they had the 2 players that are at camp, there is no question West End would win sectionals.
braves24 Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 Bridge City Juniors beat Barbers Hill 12-7 they were winning 9-0 going into 5 to with a perfect game!
bkatdog Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 The Jasper All Stars have a record of 2-0 in the Sectional round in Deer Park and have only played a total of eight innings, out scoring their opponents 21–1. Jasper has gotten solid pitching from their starters and their defense has been flawless. Jasper now awaits the winner between Nederland, who defeated Barbers Hill on Saturday night 5 to 4 in six innings, and Tomball in a Sunday evening battle between the one loss teams. Keep up the good work dawgs, we are pulling for you.
