Dayton Gets A Good One

Xavier Franks from Crosby will now be a Dayton Bronco. His family has moved to Dayton where his dad graduated from. Franks played RB, WR and DB for the Cougars last season. He ran a 22.3 200 at district meet and made the finals at regionals.  He also ran a 49.0 split in the mile relay.

welcome aboard the bronco camp xavier. looking forward to watching the stampede roll once again. "GO BRONCOS" we should have a very good rushing game now with jakari and xavier, with payton plough under center. might be a totally different look for the broncs this season.

A bit of a surprise. As a WR this kid I thought would get some DI offers, especially with teams coming to check out Merka at Crosby. Merka to Franks coulda hooked up for big numbers!

Interesting that talk would come from the Hill.Broncos were going to be nasty before this.Heck did anybody email Dave Campbell's Magazine?As pre-season he picked Dayton in the 09 semi-finals.Welcome aboard Frank's.I sure miss that name of a famous eating place once in Dayton.

no recruiting or cheating here, the broncos got a bunch of good kids coming up . going to be a force to deal with for a few years to come. what can i say, dayton's a good place to live.  ;D

;D And to play some football.We have played the game knock-knock in 07-08 deep playoff runs.Is 09 the team to win it all?Should be very interesting if some younger talent again gets some quality playing time like last years team did in those lopsided games.Heck Crosby only put up 24 pts.in the last 4 years-while the Broncos put 155 pts on them.

True, Crosby loses a good receiver, but I was always concerned with his work ethic.  He can be better than he has been.

I've been hearing about the BH linebacker leaving for a while now,,If thats true theres no evidence of it..If so , BH has an abundance of really good LB's this year.

Lacour was the starting runningback, Jakari saw a little time back there. He played in the games we had well in hand. He burnt off on C.E. King to score 59 yd touchdown run. Last year he had 27 carries for 235 yds. Avg. 8.7 a carry.
