PhatMack19 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Yes. Clinches pool and advance to final 32. Play last pool game at 9 a.m. tomorrow then playoffs begin at 7 p.m. tomorrow nite. That's a BIG win to clinch the pool. Now you can rest some kids and have all of your pitchers ready to go for bracket play.

San Diego is 3-1 and GTB is 2-1-1 in pool play. Sets up to be an important game in pool play tomorrow. If GTB wins thye will be at least tied for 1st in the pool depending on outcome of Indiana Bulls and NCBA game. Bulls are 2-1-1 and NCBA is 2-2. GTB needs to win and have NCBA win. PG website indicates Hicks and Benoit will pitch for GTB. GTB has allowed the fewest runs in it's pool so far.

I know he played a few games with them in Arizona, but left early to tryout for the USA National Team. Have not seen or heard his name in any of the Blogs on the Perfect Game web site. I feel certain if he was there, he would be getting a ton of coverage from them.
