AJ25 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 nederland's is always potent.. Lumberton's shouldn't skip a beat this year if the O-line has a solid off-season, replacing 2 all-staters is never an easy task
pngfan1 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Too many unknowns.Who knows? One thing is for sure, we will know in time.
badndn Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 nederland's is always potent.. Lumberton's shouldn't skip a beat this year if the O-line has a solid off-season, replacing 2 all-staters is never an easy task Lumberton will live and die on that defense this year! Nederland has to replace a hose of a RB. Remember 2007! Should have big stat lines because of the air game, but will they score alot? PNG will be under a learning curve. Should have big stat lines because of the air game, but will they score alot? Central will also live and die on the defense this year. Ozen is an anigma? Who knows what you will get? LCM will also be under a learning curve. Livingston lost their allworld threat. Vidor...Vidor might move the ball better than the rest and get into the end zone more.
Bigdog Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Ned has a couple of RBs coming up, we should be ok, along with most of the OL coming back. We need to throw to the TE more..

I think that either Nederland (since they always seem to have the top offensive numbers) and Ozen (they have the best RB coming back) will have the best offense.
Guest Brubaker Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Ned has a couple of RBs coming up, we should be ok, along with most of the OL coming back. We need to throw to the TE more.. Is there a TE in the spread offense they run....???
outanup Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Exactly my thoughts Brubaker, Ned doesnt use a tightend.

liltex Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 ;D With new schools coming into 4A from Humble/Baytown area and realignment on the horizon you may get Dayton back in the future.Always is not fitting to Ned's offense.Remember 07 in your house. But the Broncos earned that one from earlier spankings from Dem Dogs.
BMTSoulja1 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Cannot speak for Nederland, but we (Central) Aren't scared of Dayton. Heck, I would love for them to come back. Looking for sweet payback from 2006!
Bigdog Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Neither are we. We have layed or share of spankings on them as liltex said.
CThoops Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Neither are we. We have layed or share of spankings on them as liltex said. I remember a few of them spankings we gave them. ;D

Is there a TE in the spread offense they run....??? Ned is going to use more tight end sets this year. Dionte was getting most of the reps in practice. A 6'4" tight end could be a huge asset. As for most of the O-line returning, Ned lost 3 of their starters from last year including Huber(Baylor) and Nick Smith. Those 2 were beast on the right side. The O-line is a big question mark going into the season, which is probably why they will use the tight end some. They key to the Dogs season will be keeping Bellow upright.
Razor Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 medic Bru, that would be medics in the plural form...one wasn't enough on that night.
raideroldtimer Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Neither are we. We have layed or share of spankings on them as liltex said. I remember a few of them spankings we gave them. ;D Shoot, L-Town is so used to having been spanked in the past, a little whoopin' don't hardly bother them butts anymore......... ;D
raideroldtimer Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 If Hughes can get his passing game going, L-Town will open up alot of eyes. Ryan Asher should be a really respctable runner from the backfield, just like Hanna year before last behind Hussey, Ash actually had good numbers for the amount of carries he had. The O-line, not sure as I haven't seen the new guys play.
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Ryan Asher should be the SPARK for the Raider offense........exist long enough to get the ball to boobie... ;D
tvc184 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 medic Bru, that would be medics in the plural form...one wasn't enough on that night. That was some devastating hits when we can remember them years later.

That was some devastating hits when we can remember them years later. heck i can remember the last time we played central and nederland they didnt score. Also i can remember that dayton only ran the qb sneak from the middle of the third quarter to the end of the game. It sure is good to be able to go back in the past.
pngfan66 Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 Right now I would say Nederland, but I think after a few games the whole scenario could change. With 4 new coaches in the district, its gonna be interesting.
bojofootball Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 Watch out for Tevvan Jones. Will be a junior. Fast and very strong
