Kerry and Trey Franks practice a handoff with a turkey leg Saturday at the MacArthur Shopping Center.  The Franks family and friends are selling the legs to raise money for Trey's trip to North Carolina July 31 where he will run in the National Junior Olympics after winning his regional meet in both the 100 and 200.  LCM sophomore Hayden Reed also qualified with third place finishes in the shot and discus. Yes, that's the same Kerry Franks. Kerry is Trey's older brother is also the older brother of Jacoby Franks, who is a receiver at Texas Tech. There dad was a really good football player as well.

That was actually Trey's dad Kerry Franks senior handing off the turkey leg to him. His older brother Kerry did play for A&m, but that wasn't him in the picture.

Kerry Sr was a running back at Oklahome State.

i feel very blessed to know the franks familey.the mom and dad and grandmother are some of the best people you will ever meet. the love in there hearts to there kids and to there friends is wounderfull ,so if you dont know this familey try and get to know them ,then you will be blessed and feel the love in there hearts to ALL THE KIDS no matter who they are
