Wow, Lazeek! Is that even possible? :D 8)

His belly may have grown but it does not rival the growth of some egos

OK stevenash, I will give you some attention.....What makes you make that statement? Was something said that indicated that someone's ego had grown?   ::) ::)

Just wanted to see if anyone was egotistical enought to assume I meant them.

If you use your context clue's, nash, I said SOMEONE, instead of I....Simply because you made no inference as to who you were speaking of, so I did not assume....

Painfully obvious to whom you thought I was referring.

Only issue I have ever had (other than the veiled threats) is the multitude of condescending comments to others on this board attempting to make them feel their opinion is of no value or "not enlightened".  I remember a couple of years ago all of the "enlightened" opinions were saying to stay away from injury prone Adrian Peterson in the NFL draft.  So much for "enlightenment".  I can also remember a time when the next savior in the NBA was going to be Kwame Brown because of his abilities and because Jordan would be mentoring him in Washington.  So much for the "enlightened".  I also love the  Region3-a analogies.  When USC won the national championship in football a few years ago, they came out of perhaps the WORST major conference in the country, so what does winning the National Championship say about their conference? - very little.  I also believe that when Boston won a couple of years ago, the Western Conference was the stronger conference and this past year I believe that the Eastern Conference was the stronger conference in spite of LAs victory.

Do we need to check you guys for performance enhancing drugs?

No, but you might want to check out the Tiger stretching exercises. ;)

They're probably legal but listed as grade exceptions. It's a common thing in athletics to have grade exceptions dominating the younger players who are in their correct grades.

    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an easy and obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.

    • @CIS_org National Security Senior Fellow @BensmanTodd tells Steve Bannon how the U.S. State Department and USAID have been sending American taxpayer funds to religious nonprofits to facilitate mass immigration to our southern border. Bensman says 248 nonprofits are participating in the United Nations’ 2024 agenda to distribute $1.6 billion in cash, transportation, food, and shelter to U.S.-bound immigrants across Mexico and Latin America.
