badndn
Just left the Reservation and a big group of PNG football players (as they do daily) were running and working on strength and conditioning. They should all run 4.4's next year! : And yes 4.4 is amazingly fast. Think about this: Of the 120 speed position (WR, RB, CB and Safety) participants at the 2009 combine, only 5 ran a 4.4 or better. And most combine participants are world class athletes with a personal trainer that helped them get ready for the combine. And your trying to sell us on the notion that there are 4 or 5 of those guys at LCM?? If so they would have won at least one game last year on athleticism alone! Give it a rest. holdup
many players didnt play for moody last year who is very quick. I was trying to make a point about the 40's when i said 5 and stuff but i can name 3 players that i know is in the 4.4's or low 4.5's that was always shadowed in moody program and one of them was at wos last year for a while but moved back to lcm to be with his dad. jeremy chauvin is lightning quick but never got talked about under moody's program. and tevvin jones was the starting running back from last year and as we seen last year he has speed, and Johnny epps was at wos and was a great force on defense and from what was said he was a starter after the first scrimmage... WTB
thats funny because Kylier Keith won the 200 and tied for 2nd in the 100 and he has 4.5 speed. LCM must not have these animals coming out for track or else they would be dominating the district. Philip Richard did run track and was 8th in the 200 his senior year. But your saying that if my mind is right and I have the power of positive thinking then I can run 4.4?

marshman
LC-M should be better this year than last but still probably a year away from a playoff spot. I say they go 4-6 this year. 5-5 with a break or two.
canecutter
Gaurantee you that 9 out of ten kids that they talk about running 4.4s in high school are not right, once you get them off of the stop watch and on a real nfl combine timer, the times are really 4.6s and 4.7s, just go look at the 09 combine results there is only 4 running backs on the whole list that had times in the 4s and the best was a 4.
77
ok last year is in the past... why is it so hard to believe they have 4.4 speed there??? in the past years they had players running 4.3 (kendrex salter, philip richard, chris guy, justin king) come on I knew everyone of those kids and not one ran a 4.3or 4.4for that matter! bojonomore
#1. I go to LCM. I play football. I ran a 4.54 at the Lamar camp and I am not one of the 5 fastest dudes on the team. #2. Philip Richard took --6th-- as a --junior-- #3. Kendrex Salter definately ran a 4.4. #4. Few players get too much faster after 17-18 because of all the weight gain and strength training. I know a former running back for the Minnesota Vikings whose fastest forty time was in his senior year. #5. Kyler Keith is not exceedingly quick. He never was one of the beasts off the line he is just fast

Coach Schrapps
good aint got nothing to do with speed ya know... gettin faster over a short period of time is a mind set thing. if you want to improve yourself you have to want it and go after it... I be at the highschool sometimes and i see tevvin and johnny hit the track tremendously everyday... and they do it after they work cuz info say they work at a elementary school in wos I hope they have a good English Program at LCM. AJ25
johnny epps, tevvin jones, josh trahan, preston armstrong... these are some of the top players at lcm... Johnny Epps is a dual threat on the field. He has the skill to make players miss. Tevvin jones is the returning running back from lcm and has a forty speed of 4'4... Josh Trahan name has been around many camps this summer, i know johnny and josh went to lousiana camp and was a pretty good stand out. Preston armstrong is becoming one of the best possesion recievers around here. Im just waiting to see how couch crouch is going to change the program... I've played with kids that never ever saw the field and went to camps. Big deal. It means nothing. And no one at LC-M runs a 4.4. I know way too many people over there and all of them have laughed that when I asked. Sorry to burst your bubble. And LC-M will be good in 2 or 3 years, not this year. Look at Coach Credeur in Lumberton.. first year 4-6, second year 11-2 with the same players. Give it time over there, and they'll start winning. And also, every school's weight room is packed.
