Guest Ranger83
From Rivals.com: Dual-threat quarterback Crosby (TX) Crosby Ht: 6-foot-3 Wt: 190 lbs Forty: 4.7 secs Class: 2011 (High School) I saw the kid play GCM and he is legit. Not sure about the speed, not sure he needs to be fast. Big and accurate. He'll play on Saturdays.

bluejay
Got this from A&M on the Merka kid... Updates Liucci's Recruiting Update06/15/09 Juniors-to-be who impressed during the camp were Quinn Epperly of Knoxville (TN) Christian Academy, Andy McAlindon of San Mateo (CA) Junipero Serra, Crosby dual-threat Dominic Merka, Austin Westlake's Preston Dewey and Baton Rouge (LA) Catholic's Zack Oliver. Texas assistant Major Applewhite made his way to Crosby this spring to check out Merka in person. At 6-3 and over 190 pounds, Dominic is a big, strong and fast dual-threat signal-caller who could definitely excel in a system that mixes in a lot of zone read. Merka isn't necessarily a scramblerhe's just an outstanding runner who racked up a combined 2,087 yards of offense as a sophomore. Was told he ran a 4.55..Believe this kid would be perfect fit for our offense...
