Oky, folks. We are going to take a hand at putting together a preseason football team.  And by WE, I also mean YOU!!!!  The first step of the process will be to take nominations from you, the members.  From those nominations, the SETX staff will vote on 1st and 2nd team All-SETX offensive and defensive teams!

The offense will be:  QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, OL, OL, OL, OL, OL and K

The defense will be:  DL, DL, DL, LB, LB, LB, LB, CB, CB, S, S and P

So post your nominations at each position in this thread.  Give us everything we need to know....name, school, position, class and any vital stats.

We will be taking nominations until Thursday, Aug. 6th at 11:59 p.m.  Get after it and have fun!

John Glenn Harrington, West Hardin Oilers-Junior

In Sophmore year played Defensive End/Left Offensive Tackle, 52 Tackles, 5 Tackles for Loss, 4 Sacks, 26 Assisted Tackles, 4 Forced Fumbles, 3 Fumble Recoveries, 2 Tipped Passes & 13 QB Hurry/Pressures. 

In addition, he played both ways as an Offensive Tackle and still managed these stats!

23-1A -- 1st Team All-District Defense & 2nd Team All-District Offense

How can I have forgotten about Johnson from Silsbee, Jackson from Livingston, and Pittman from Vidor?  All 3 of them will no doubt, do their thing!

RB - Jacoby Turner  HJ Sr.  Led 21-3a in rushing as a Jr.  3 year starter.

WR - Garrett Gustafson HJ Jr.  Around 20 catches as a Soph.  Speed to burn.

DB - Nick McCown HJ  Sr.  8 Int's as a Soph.  INJ as a Jr. Fully recovered and expect big things.

Just My Personal Thoughts.But these Players Should Maybe Get some Recognition For this

LB-Collin Garret Jr. West Brook Made the Ultimate 100 Camp and Was Named M.V.P Plus is on the List of the Best Players in the 2011 class in the state

CB-Quinton Cantue Jr. Central.Was clocked At a 4.3 40 at an SMU Combine over the Summer.Hurt most of last Yr not including Playoffs

                                                                                                                                                                                WR-Kennan Holman Sr. Central Didn't Get Many Balls thrown his Way Last Yr But with the Pass Friendly Offense May get a chance to show his skills

SS-Nick Bryant Jr.West Brook Very Strong and will punish a ball Carrier

WR-A Reciver From Nederland that's Gonna be a JR this Yr that was on Varsity Last Year,,,i think he was number 2

Rb-Nigel Daw Sr. Central An Underrated Player Who was Over shadowed by Keith Oneal.should have a break out Yr
