You don't gain anything from it, if you lose then you will never hear the end of it and if they win no big deal because a varsity team should beat a sophomore team! Whether you play a 3A sophmore team or a 2A varsity, they both have a lot more kids that play for them. No matter who they play, they should play! In playing BC they are up against the JV of a school that is over 4 times bigger than they are. I am sure that Coach Westfall would rather get a varsity team in that slot, but if you can't be with the one you love, you gotta love the one your with. If a HD poster said anything other than something derogatory or bringing up glory from 40-50 years ago, they would be run out of town (not that could be all bad).
