It's funny, they list the Silsbee-WOS game as a key game but yet do not list Jeremy Johnson, Trey Franks, or James Haynes as top area players. They also do not list Silsbee or WOS as top area teams. :

Doesn't the Hurst family own both the Chronicle/Enterprize?Win alot and they will cover especially when roundball has moved in on their favs.

Is it really a surprise?  People write these articles.  Quality is a lost art.  So, don't be surprised.

I'm not surprised at all. I grew up in the Houston area.  Once bigger got better....you lost the small.  If you are not a 5-a school - the coverage drops off greatly.  I like the fact that the majority of the schools around the Golden Triangle are 4-a and below.  The majority usually wins. 

Coverage by the media in this area is mostly fair.....If you cover one small school, they know they need to cover them all.  If you loose one small guy, you will lose another.  Majority wins.

Under a new head coach, Mueller will be a key leader for the Brahmas. He threw for more than 1,200 yards last year.

Seen this kid this weekend in Nederland throwing the baseball for Tri-counties at our regional. He's at least 6'6'' and all the tools to go big time in baseball.
