AggiesAreWe Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 It's funny, they list the Silsbee-WOS game as a key game but yet do not list Jeremy Johnson, Trey Franks, or James Haynes as top area players. They also do not list Silsbee or WOS as top area teams. : This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up
the sports guy Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 They also said Silsbee would be playing at WOS. The Golden Triangle is just a mystery to them.
KFDM COOP Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 They don't cover this area like they used to, at least in detail.
Majestyk Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Houston media quit covering the Golden Triangle, can't even buy a Chronicle in Orange. The Bill McMurray days are over sadly to say.
Guest newtoschool Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 cry me a river.....oh...... cry me a river .... oh
liltex Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Doesn't the Hurst family own both the Chronicle/Enterprize?Win alot and they will cover especially when roundball has moved in on their favs.
smitty Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Is it really a surprise? People write these articles. Quality is a lost art. So, don't be surprised. They also said Silsbee would be playing at WOS. The Golden Triangle is just a mystery to them.

If you are not a 5-a school - the coverage drops off greatly. I like the fact that the majority of the schools around the Golden Triangle are 4-a and below. The majority usually wins. Coverage by the media in this area is mostly fair.....If you cover one small school, they know they need to cover them all. If you loose one small guy, you will lose another. Majority wins.
