TheBoysMom
Between the two game today ND had 19 hits and 5 errows PB had 7 hits and 0 errows. Congrats Nederland! The stars might just be aligned for you to bring home the grand prize...in 2 games to get 19 hits, only score 5 runs, commit 5 errors and still win the championship shows the gods are smiling on you! Thanks for the compliment, GT. As they say, a "W" is a "W", and is the difference between some people staying home while others travel to the World Series. I'll take it. But Palo Alto clawed its way out of the loser's bracket to reach the final. Torrance had to beat them once in two games to capture the title and advance to the Babe Ruth World Series on Aug. 21-28 in Longview, Wash. Torrance fell in the first game, 5-4, but came back to defeat Palo Alto, 8-6, to capture the Pacific Southwest Regional title in Ukiah on Monday.
