TexAgNDN Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 Here is mine! Do not for one millisecond think that this is an uneducated prediction. PNG will make the playoffs with a record of 8-2 or better! Offense will put up 35+ points per game! Defense will give up no more than 14 per game! THIS SEASON...MARK IT DOWN

Guest baseball25 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 I just don't see 8-2 this year for PNG.
liltex Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 He meant OLD Prediction.I do see improvement down the road.
TexAgNDN Posted August 5, 2009 Author Report Posted August 5, 2009 You can lose a game or two with stats like that.  The 1996 Indians score 362 points and gave up only 95 and finished with a regular season record of  9-1 (Average 36.2 and 9.5).  The 1999 State Finalist scored 330 and gave up 149, regular season record 9-1 (Average 33.0 and 14.9) With 9 returning starters on Defense under the new system they will give up no more than 14 per game.  Offense is under a system and has as much talent at the skill positions as it has in ten years.  I believe 35 points per game is realistic. I could confidently change my prediction to 9-1, however I believe with the quality in the district this year 8-2 is solid
TexAgNDN Posted August 5, 2009 Author Report Posted August 5, 2009 I just don't see 8-2 this year for PNG. That is why your name is "baseball25".......Stick to what you know

TexazBall Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 OK a bold Prediction..Lets see Central will go 13-3 and win State....And be picked 6Th in district Next Year..I think it really could happen
pngfan1 Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Don't know what our record will be, but I am confident we will win a lot of games.
JS Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 The Dayton Broncos "kick the door" in this season and bring home a state championship.

prepballfan Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Im staying out of this one. I think PN-G will be a better team this season. I hope you are right on this one. I need to wait and see how it goes.
TexAgNDN Posted August 6, 2009 Author Report Posted August 6, 2009 Yes, I believe they could put up better stats. However, stats alone do not guarantee a spot in the state championship game. If you need an example look above at the stats I posted for the 1996 PNG team, they only went two rounds deep. If you focus on stats that team should have won State.Â
thetragichippy Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 With those stats how do you lose 2 games? Lumberton will be responsible for 1 of the 2 lossesÂ

I don't really look at stats that much until someone makes a statement like you did. I'm a WOS fan we can talk stats if you would like. Â ;D
speveto Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 WOS will go 16 & 0.  silsbee will go 5 & 6.

My prediction includes what I believe 2009 team regular season record will be and also how, offensively and defensively, they will achieve that record.
the sports guy Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 WOS will go 16 & 0.   silsbee will go 5 & 6. I guess a Bold prediction doesn't have to be a smart one.
Joharr73 Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 West Hardin goes undefeated and wins 1A State Championship!!!! Yeah Baby!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
HDcats0422 Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 It would help WH if they didn't play jv teams in preseason! Lol....j/k...good luck everyone
bojonomore Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Here's my bold predictions: 1. Silsbee will be better than 5-6. 2. PNG won't outscore opponents by 20 points. 3. Central will not win state. There you go. I know, pretty ballsy...but someone has to go out on a limb...
HORNSFAN86 Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 HF, after being predicted to be the 21-3A cellar dweller they shake everyone and barely nip HJ & BC to nab the 3rd Playoff Spot. " Now that's a bold prediction ".
