Luther X Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 Looking good Rebs! Keep up the good work. Good luck to Coach Williams, his staff, and the Rebels.
Rebel Yeller Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 Great first workout in pads! Good crowd showing community support. 46 players suited up at a 1A school is something to be proud of and will continue the success of the Rebel footbal program. Can't wait for the season to get started.
BIGMO44 Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 ol billy bryant in one of those pics.. Sharp eye AJ...He came aboard a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if this midnight madness deal was explained to him when he interviewed for the job. ;D ;D

Cheer on fans i have a filling this is going to be a great season.
83_Alumni Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Wasn't able to make it. How did the Rebels look? Are we in line for a repeat or a possible rebuilding year?
BIGMO44 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Wasn't able to make it. How did the Rebels look? Are we in line for a repeat or a possible rebuilding year? IMO, too early to tell. The Rebs looked a little rough but it is still early and that practice was VERY EARLY, in the morning. So, I'll hold my major comments for a week are two. This Saturdays scrimmage with West Sabine will tell more.

BIGMO44 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 good post GUY...if the Rebs see where they need work and address it, they'll be fine. Coach Will will have em tuned up in a week or two...
Rebel Yeller Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Sounds like the Rebels are getting one "Mo: better deal from BigMo!
Guest Luther X Jr. Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 The rebels looked a little rough for the first padded practice but r improving tremendously without a doubt..
whambulance Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Sounds like the Rebels are getting one "Mo: better deal from BigMo! Not sure what that meant yeller. I was there as well and there is some ground to cover if the Rebs want to repeat. Mo is one of the biggest Rebel supporters in town, and you know that. If you think they came out firing on all cylinders, say so. And like mo said, Williams will have them ready come district play, just like last year.
Rebel Yeller Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Hey Wham No disrespect towards Mo he's a good good friend, just a little preseason funny. I have watched several practices including Midnight Madness, I believe things in Rebelland will be just fine, but you have to play the games and you have to do the work. I have seen some good and some not so good in the practices I have been to. But, I still hold to my prediction that another district championship is coming for the Rebs this season.
